Paducah firefighters receive donation to replace cooking equipment | <span class="tnt-section-tag no-link">News</span> | WPSD Local 6

PADUCAH — Members of the Local 168 Professional Firefighters of Paducah received a welcome surprise Wednesday that will help them replace lost equipment.

The Community Foundation of West Kentucky, a local nonprofit support organization, presented a check for $7,500 to firefighters Mike Hall and Nathan Torian. The funds will help the union replace equipment used for fundraisers. Most notably, the union uses the equipment to cook at events like BBQ on the River.

Widespread flooding last week damaged about $15,000 worth of the union's equipment.
